Central to the IB experience, service learning is formally recognized through Creativity, Action and Service (CAS) activities. Principled action, as both a strategy and an outcome, represents the IB's commitment to teaching and learning through practical, real-world experience. Through IB, students are challenged to better understand the impact of their service personally, locally and globally. Many service projects completed by former St. Edward IB students continue to impact their community today.
